Your Lip Implant Procedure

Since they are smooth and non-porous, unlike other implants, they are easy to remove. The implants look and feel natural, and are virtually undetectable when eating or kissing. We also offer AlloDerm® dermal graft lip implants that are made from donated human tissue. AlloDerm® lip implants are soft, pliable and avoid the possibility of an allergic reaction. AlloDerm® may only last for a year or 2 because your body may absorb the graft.
Using a local or general anesthetic, your cosmetic surgeon will make tiny incisions at the corners of your mouth or elsewhere along your lips and create a thin pocket to accommodate the lip implants and ensure proper placement. Your Recovery and Results

For an easier recovery, elevate your head and apply cold compresses for the first 24 hours to reduce swelling.
